When you visit

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Delivering pages involves processing technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request timing. Cloudflare also processes security and network-error information to operate and protect its service.

This site has no visitor accounts, checkout, contact form, advertising pixels, session recordings, or embedded social feeds. Fonts, images, and site scripts are served from this domain. Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled.

When you email

Sending an email shares your email address and any name, company details, message, or attachments you choose to include. I use this information to read and respond to your inquiry, discuss potential collaborations, and manage any resulting agreement. Please send only what is relevant; sensitive personal information is not needed for an initial inquiry.

Business email is forwarded through Squarespace’s Mailgun-based forwarding service to a Gmail inbox. Those providers process messages for delivery and storage. Clicking an email link opens your email app; the website itself does not submit or store an inquiry. Emailing me does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Your theme choice

If you switch between light and dark mode, the site saves that choice in your browser’s local storage. It contains only the theme choice, not a visitor ID, and is not sent to the server. You can clear it on the Cookies & Storage page.

Providers and external platforms

Information is processed through the hosting and email providers described above as needed to run the site and handle inquiries. I do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information may also need to be disclosed when legally required or to address fraud, abuse, or a security incident.

Social links take you to separate platforms. Their own privacy rules apply when you visit them; their feeds and players do not load here. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Keeping information

Inquiry correspondence is kept in the email account, not a website database. How long it is needed depends on the discussion, any resulting agreement, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Hosting and email providers also apply their own retention practices. You can request deletion of correspondence; some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or an ongoing agreement.

Questions and privacy requests

You can email business@trentet.com to ask about information you have shared, request access or a correction, or request deletion. Available legal rights depend on where you live and which laws apply. Only information reasonably needed to verify and address a request should be provided; do not send identity documents unless a suitable verification method has been agreed.

The site serves a general audience and does not offer children’s accounts or submission features. If you believe a child has emailed personal information that should be removed, contact the same address.
